Tyrone's Spiritual Revelations

My Spiritual Journey:

The most important things in my life were music and books, both of which helped me avoid interacting with real people.

I didn't acknowledge God in any way, and through pride and ignorance I  explored my own inadequate justification of existence through meditation.

The 'Gospel' is 'good news' which means we are freed from the inadequacies that society poses upon us. Through Jesus, who has made us complete by dying for our inherent evilness, every person has the abiliy to live the life that lasts forever- from the moment they confess their belief in Jesus's actions.

In 1998 I gave my life to Jesus after six months of exploring the personal Jesus that was never presented to me through movies or television.

I struggled with my understanding of Church about a year after I dedicated my life to Jesus. So, I had to commit myself to not place my faith in the Christians around me, but in Jesus alone, who has never failed me, and has never let me down.

In class I have the opportunity to share the message of hope and peace and purpose that I hold so dearly with friends in my classes. I have to rely on God to bless me with knowledge and understanding, because to search for God and the knowledge of Him, we shall find the root of all understanding.

To be a student simply for a good mark on tests/labs/essays is rather pointless and meaningless. Education is about enrichment and becoming a better person, not to get good marks and graduate and to get a good job. A job will not make anyone happy. What will make people happy is a meaningful life that is led by God, through the hope given us by Jesus.

Pursuing a real relationship with God is like giving up smoking; food begins to taste better, the air tastes cleaner, and you are freed from the bonds of helplessness.
