Choosing my area of study:
>In my second year of university, I was going to do Accounting, then I realized that I didn't care much for numbers and failed a midterm because I was too apathetic to study for it. I switched to Psychology because I just found it so much more fascinating.
>Learning more about yourself and how you work is one of the best things about studying Psychology. Problem is, sometimes you have no more answers to your questions; you can be left at times with just more questions.
>A person who is a thinker and asker of questions would make a good Psychology student.

Grace's advice for students:
>Take good notes and keep up with the readings.
>Before you pick a topic for your paper, check the library to make sure there are actually good sources on that topic. Some libraries really suck.
>Try lots of new things that you might slightly be interested in, including courses you don't think you would benefit from taking.
>Plan your weeks, including fun times.

My life in university:
>The freedom you have in university is great, but the homework is not. Plus I don't enjoy walking such a long distance to each class.
>In university, I learned about who I was and gained a vision for what I want to do with the rest of my life. I discovered my life purpose by trying lots of new things that seemed scary at first, like talking to people about my faith, leading discussion groups, and visiting foreign countries.
>My faith made my life as a university student a lot more interesting and a lot less stressful.
If my main purpose as a student was just to pass my courses so that I could get a decent paying job, I would have missed out on so much more. Because of my faith, I see university as a time to discover myself and to develop every part of myself -- including my spirit.
