Study all week and have a fun time during the weekend. This is an elementary guide to throwing a great college university party, basically the do's and don'ts with all of the fundamental elements you will need.
The first thing you will need is a contact list of your college university friends, acquaintances, classmates or people you simply want to reconnect with.

The next step is to put the word out to your friends. The number of people attending will depend on what kind of party you plan to host. The final step is to prep your dwelling. This is one of the most crucial phases of planning because ambiance is key.
- Music sets the mood. Make sure you have some kind of music system, whatever you have at hand, ie. stereo, ipod, string quartet, live band.
- You will also need music to accompany the stereo. Pick high-energy music to fuel an already lively group or ignite a dead crowd. To create a relaxing atmosphere play some smooth jazz or Latin tunes.
- I have found that burned mixes are generally the best so that you do not have change the music often.
- Next, pick some fun games to play! The timeless "truth or dare" or The Couch Game.
- The last thing you need to do is maximize the space you have by rearranging your furniture to accommodate the number of friends coming.
