Who will respond to my e-mail?
Once you submit your comments, an online mentor will get back to you as soon as possible (within a few days) with a personalized response to your request. Our online mentors are of varying ages with varying life experience. Guys' comments are sent to and answered by other guys, and girls' comments are sent to girls and answered by girls.
Who are the mentors? How are they screened?
Online mentors are trained and waiting to hear from you so please do not hesitate to send any problems or situations our way. All mentors are screened by iamnext and we have received personal references regarding their character and abilities. The iamnext mentor coordinator also screens their initial responses to questions to ensure honest and appropriate responses.
Are the mentors certified counselors?
The personalized responses by mentors which are offered to you reflect the personal experience and beliefs of the mentor. While all mentors are screened and every precaution is taken, iamnext, its affiliates, staff or sponsors cannot be held responsible for any situation that occurs as a result of, or is negatively influenced by, advice or answers given.
Our desire is to offer you the best advice possible but please keep in mind that the mentors are not certified counselors. If you would prefer a certified counselor’s response, please request so in your initial e-mail to iamnext.
Are my e-mails kept confidential? Who sees them?
All personal e-mails are kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to anyone other than the iamnext mentor. The mentor coordinators have the right to view and monitor all incoming and outgoing e-mails to iamnext and will discard any inappropriate questions sent to iamnext or responses sent to you by mentors. It is our joy to help you in anyway we can so please do not hesitate to ask, question, comment, or vent. No other individuals affiliated with the site will view your e-mails besides these two qualified people.
How long does it take to get a response?
Every attempt will be made to answer all questions in a timely fashion, however we cannot guarantee an immediate response and we reserve the right to discard, unanswered, any question deemed to be unsuitable at our discretion. Please allow a day or two delay before you receive a response, but you WILL eventually get an e-mail.
What if it's an emergency?
We will do the best that we can to get back to you as soon as possible. But, if your situation puts you in potential danger, please seek help from the appropriate authorities immediately.
